Invited somewhere you've never dressed for?
A Malaga wedding wants linen; a Cotswolds wedding might want morning dress; a Udaipur wedding has colour rules no guidebook mentions. Type the destination and the month — we research the climate and the local wedding customs and hand you the complete blend-in brief: cloth, colours, lapel, pleats, shoes, socks, belt, grooming.
Published by Nathan Tailors, a Hoi An tailoring workshop. Every guide is researched from current sources, cited, and honest about what locals actually wear.

Every destination someone asks about becomes a permanent guide.
The dress codes, decoded
From White Tie to "casual" (which never means casual) — what each one actually requires, and how it translates to any destination.
Linen for Italian summers. Minimal lining for the tropics.
Two requests come up on almost every destination-wedding order: real linen, and a jacket that doesn’t trap heat. We cut wedding suits in cotton-linen blend ($169) and pure cotton linen ($209), with full-linen cloths available on request — the exact composition is confirmed with you before anything is cut.
Ask for a half-lined, quarter-lined, or fully unlined jacket and the tailor builds it that way: lighter shoulder, open construction, made for airflow. Our shop is in tropical Hội An — cutting for 33°C heat and humidity is what we do all year.
“There are dinner jackets and dinner jackets. This is the latter.”
How this engine works
Each guide is researched from current sources — month-by-month climate normals, local wedding customs, what guests genuinely wear — and every page lists its sources. Seed destinations are curated; anything you type is researched live, once, and kept.
And the declared interest: we're Nathan Tailors, a workshop in Hoi An, Vietnam. If a guide convinces you the occasion wants a linen suit you don't own, we cut bespoke suits and custom tailored suits to your measurements — from $149, shipped worldwide in 2–3 weeks. That's the whole business model behind the free research.
