Is it cheaper to get a suit made in Phuket or Seoul?
Phuket is cheaper for genuinely well-made work: $350–$700 for half/full-canvas versus $600–$1,500 in Seoul. Bangkok's package-deal model transplanted to a beach resort, with more aggression and a thinner skill base.
Phuket or Seoul — where is the suit quality better?
Phuket: fused (glued) is the default — Resort-strip shops fuse almost universally; a couple of Patong/Kata names do passable half-canvas on request. Seoul: canvassed construction is the norm — The new-generation ateliers cut serious canvassed suits with Italian-school styling.
Where are tailor scams worse, Phuket or Seoul?
Phuket carries more pressure: The most aggressive touting in Thailand — beach-road hawkers, inflated "sales", relentless package upsells. By contrast, Seoul: None — appointment ateliers.
Can I reorder from Phuket or Seoul after I fly home?
Phuket: Holiday-strip shops are not reachable after you fly. Seoul: Korean-language-first; international follow-up varies. If remote reordering matters, that difference usually decides the whole question — your second and third suits cost no flights.
